<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre-wrap;">Let's face it. To-do lists are not a fun thing, and even the thought of them makes my blood pressure spike. However, I'd be totally unproductive without them.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: 14.6667px; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre-wrap;">If you're anything like me, most of your to-do's and tasks come in the form of emails from colleagues and the higher-ups asking for things to be done. Thanks to Google Tasks and Reminders, I can create tasks, add details, and schedule a due date all without leaving my Gmail inbox. </span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre-wrap;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre-wrap;">The best part - Google Tasks and Reminders instantly syncs with Google Calendar, making sure I am always up-to-date on what I need to work on next. </span></span><br />

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Following the trail of emails and spending time searching through attachments is not most people's idea of fun. Good thing </span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Google Drive makes it incredibly easy to setup folder and file structures, then share those folders and files with anyone that needs them.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">2. Manage trade shows and conference attendance</span></h2>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Got a trade show or event coming up and multiple teams to manage? Need members to sign up for booth duty? Google Sheets provides a single location to store, share, and update all of your information in real time. </span><br />
<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Collaborate with teams, whether they’re onsite or remote</span></li>

</ul>
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">To take it a step further, using Google Forms </span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">you can easily create</span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"> surveys and opt-ins to record who came by your booth, or as a way to send free content and information to people you meet at the event in exchange for their email address. All the data from your form is immediately sent in real-time to a Google Sheet for easy access and analysis.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<br />
<h2>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">3. Analyze feedback from customers and leads</span></h2>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Google Forms </span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">is probably the most under-utilized tool in Google Apps. </span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Having the ability to quickly create feedback and information forms, then store and access the data with zero IT involvement ... priceless!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Building a Google Form is a great way to solicit feedback from current customers and leads. Surveys to your clientele can provide valuable feedback that informs product development. <h2>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">4. Create and share calendars with your different teams</span></h2>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Working with multiple teams and managing all the different meeting times and deadlines can be overwhelming. This is where Google Calendar steps in and cleans up that mess. Creating and <a href="http://blog.ditoweb.com/2012/01/how-to-share-calendar-in-google-apps.html" target="_blank">sharing calendars</a> between your different teams is a great way to stay in control of your teams' and your own schedules.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Some Google calendars are made available to the public by URL and can easily be added to your own. Here's some instructions from Google on <a href="https://support.google.com/calendar/answer/37100?hl=en" target="_blank">how to add a calendar by URL</a>. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">PRO TIP: Use the "Find a Time" tab to search across team members' schedules to find a time where everyone is available</span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-UX7W8yuWwtU/VaPmNp8yLzI/AAAAAAAAAJ4/DEGqCK6clS0/s1600/Screen%2BShot%2B2015-07-13%2Bat%2B12.23.17%2BPM.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="227" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-UX7W8yuWwtU/VaPmNp8yLzI/AAAAAAAAAJ4/DEGqCK6clS0/s400/Screen%2BShot%2B2015-07-13%2Bat%2B12.23.17%2BPM.png" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<br />
<h2>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">5. Easily create an internal website to share valuable information and updates</span></h2>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Google Sites is another hidden gem included in the Google Apps offerings. Sites is an easy-to-use tool that allows anyone to <a href="http://static.googleusercontent.com/media/www.google.com/en/us/support/enterprise/static/gapps/learningcenter/Google-Sites-Creating-editing-and-sharing-a-site.pdf" target="_blank">build a basic website or repository</a> of important information.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">You can use Sites to create a section for new hires, complete with tax forms and on-boarding documents. It's very easy to build a page that holds training videos and important product information for new customers. You can include a Google Form on the site that allows employees to sign up for shifts. Even embed a Google calendar on the site so everyone can stay updated on important dates and deadlines.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">6. </span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">PRO TIP: Create </span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">lead capture and opt-in forms for your website and blog</span></h2>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Now this one is a bit advanced since it requires being comfortable with a little HTML and CSS. However, this is one of the most useful marketing "hacks" to put in your toolbox. </span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-o0YVkX6kWe0/VaPJ62MLshI/AAAAAAAAAI0/tk8B7bj-Zwc/s1600/Screen%2BShot%2B2015-07-13%2Bat%2B9.55.08%2BAM.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="155" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-o0YVkX6kWe0/VaPJ62MLshI/AAAAAAAAAI0/tk8B7bj-Zwc/s320/Screen%2BShot%2B2015-07-13%2Bat%2B9.55.08%2BAM.png" width="320" /></a></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Running a contest? Want to grow your email marketing list? Google Forms is a great way to create lead generating opt-in forms in just seconds. Just create the Form like you normally would, and then click the option to View Live Form. </span></div>

<br />
<br />
Now you've got your entire form copied and it's ready to be pasted anywhere that you would like to capture leads - your website, landing page, blog side bar, etc. If you're comfortable with manipulating HTML and CSS, you can even style the form any way you want to match your branding and style.</span></div>

</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/--CWTzqgT-S8/VZVwlHbzruI/AAAAAAAAAIU/sJU5pVhk9gA/s1600/Screen%2BShot%2B2015-07-02%2Bat%2B12.58.27%2BPM.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="360" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/--CWTzqgT-S8/VZVwlHbzruI/AAAAAAAAAIU/sJU5pVhk9gA/s640/Screen%2BShot%2B2015-07-02%2Bat%2B12.58.27%2BPM.png" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
That New Years resolution to start running. That time when you refused to go to the mechanic and changed your own oil. The minute you break your favorite coffee cup and can't survive without it.<br />
<br />
These are the moments that have a huge effect on us every day, and is also where brands have the potential to connect with us and make a lasting impact. Google calls these Micro-Moments.<br />
<br />
They happen all day, every day in countries across the globe. They are the want-to-know moments, the want-to-go moments, want-to-do moments, want-to-buy moments. And after doing a little research of their own, Google thinks <a href="https://think.storage.googleapis.com/docs/4-new-moments-every-marketer-should-know.pdf" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">they know a thing or two</a> about them:<br />
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: 20px;">82%</span> of smartphone users turn to their phone to influence an in-store purchase decision</li>
<li><span style="font-size: 20px;">62%</span> of smartphone users are more likely to immediately work solving an unexpected problem or new task because they have a smartphone</li>
<li><span style="font-size: 20px;">90%</span> of smartphone users have used their phone to make progress toward a long term goal or multi-step process while “out and about."</li>
<li><span style="font-size: 20px;">91%</span> of smartphone users turn to their phone for ideas while doing a given task</li>
</ul>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-6fUv0tXOIng/VZVu9BgglCI/AAAAAAAAAII/wjc7X-i0Uao/s1600/Screen%2BShot%2B2015-07-02%2Bat%2B12.57.54%2BPM.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="179" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-6fUv0tXOIng/VZVu9BgglCI/AAAAAAAAAII/wjc7X-i0Uao/s320/Screen%2BShot%2B2015-07-02%2Bat%2B12.57.54%2BPM.png" width="320" /></a></div>
These are just some of the moments that give your brand an opportunity to save the day.<br />
<br />
Whether it's making a how-to video on drywall repair, or creating an infographic on the importance of properly hydrating, your brand has the opportunity to connect and make a lasting impact with your customers. And they will thank you for it!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<h3>
5 ways to help you be there when you're needed</h3>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b>Map your key moments - </b>Walk through the entire decision making process for customers/clients of your business - from product education to an in-the-moment purchase. Which key moments does your business need to win, and which moments cannot be lost?</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b>Know what customers need in-the-moment -</b> What are they doing? How are they searching? What device are they using? Look through the eyes of your customer and ask yourself how you can make their lives easier.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b>Deliver the right experience through context -</b> What time of day is it? Where are they located? Use contextual signals to deliver a tailor-made experience to your customer, like time-sensitive deals or when products they're looking for are available for in-store pickup.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b>Optimize the consumer journey -</b> Multiple pages, multiple departments, multiple screens. The consumer journey of today can be very complex and fragmented. Make sure your brand experience is seamless across all devices and built around the consumer's important moments.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b>Measure moments that matter -</b> This can be a challenging task, but it's very important if you want to improve. Use credible estimates and test which analytics and metrics can signal a win or loss for your business in the consumer's journey.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b><span style="font-size: 20px;">Question:</span> Which micro-moments do you think matter most for you - before, during, or after the decision-making process?</b></div>

One year later, Chromebox for meetings has been widely adopted and regularly used to lessen the barrier to remote collaboration.<br />
<br />
This is why the team behind Chromebox for meetings is excited to announce that they now support larger meeting rooms. Now, groups of up to twenty people can experience meeting with colleagues and counterparts around the globe, all while feeling like they are in the same room.<br />
<br />
Companies like Netflix, Pinterest, and Whirlpool Corporation have already had great experiences using the new Chromebox for meetings platform.<br />
<br />
According to Pinterest's Head of IT, Matt Thorne, "The price was right, which is important for a young company. While legacy video conferencing systems can cost millions, we’ve spent a small fraction of that with Chromeboxes."<br />
<br />
With over 100,000 employees world-wide, Whirlpool Corporation needed a seamless technology to bridge the geographical gap. Whirlpool's Sr. Manager of Collaboration, Troy McKim, attributes Google's Chromebox for meetings with bringing the global team closer together. "Expanding Chromebox for meetings to larger rooms continues to improve Whirlpool Corporation's face-to-face collaboration across our global meeting rooms, and with the price point and simple installation, we're able to bring room-to-room video conferencing to many more people.”<br />
<br />

<h3>
</h3>
<h3>
Key new features to the Chromebox for Meetings platform</h3>
The bottom-line on brand new Chromebox specs...<br />
<br />
<b>Upgraded hardware for larger rooms:</b><br />
<ul>
<li>Pan-tilt-zoom camera, USB-enabled and 1080 HD</li>
<li>2x inputs for microphones and speakers</li>
<li>Enhanced dual screen support allows you to connect two monitors to the camera, mic, and speakers, giving users the richest video conferencing experience available</li>
</ul>
<br />
<br />
<b>Upgraded screen-sharing experience:</b> your presentations have never looked so good with the new <a href="https://support.google.com/chromeboxformeetings/answer/3350117" target="_blank">full-screen mode</a> provided with Chromebox for meetings<br />
<br />
<b>Upgraded management controls:</b> the Admin panel is now beefed up with even more Chrome management controls, including the remote ability to <a href="https://support.google.com/chromeboxformeetings/answer/4618201" target="_blank">monitor the health</a> of all Chrome devices from one interface. See which devices are online or offline, and delegate the <a href="https://support.google.com/chromeboxformeetings/answer/6208982" target="_blank">administration of Chrome devices</a> to users besides the super admin.<br />
<br />
Despite all the new upgrades, the Chromebox platform remains just as simple to use as when it was first released. Running on ChromeOS, the platform is quick, highly secure, and extremely simple to manage. Not only is Chromebox for meetings deployable in just minutes, but remotely managing tens of thousands of devices has never been so easy, even from a central, remote location.<br />
<br />
At just one tenth the cost of legacy video conferencing systems, Chromebox for meetings start at just $1999 for the large room, and includes everything you need to bring video conferencing to your business - just BYOS! (bring your own screen)<br />

<br />
Here's a quick video explaining the features:<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/hdVVukQJWdA?rel=0" width="560"></iframe>
</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br />
<h1>
New Feature 1: Allow non-Google Users to Preview Files</h1>
Since the new sharing feature was released, Google Apps admins can allow Drive content to be previewed by non-Google account users who are outside of their domain, without needing them to sign in or create a new Google account.<br />
<br />
In the past, we could get around this by setting link sharing permissions to “Anyone with the link” can access. With this new update, your link stays private, but you can still share and allow viewing for individuals who do not have Google accounts.<br />
<br />
Users will still need to sign in to a Google Account in order to comment or edit the doc, even with the new setting enabled. By default, this feature will not be enabled but can be in the Admin console under <b>Google Drive Sharing settings:</b><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="250" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/qRmdaGLgq3O8TVFj4AL899UuIjgvwLxomb202Fg9mocEB5Cl8mNhuEQDy5DKq3lS5E680aeQFwS6CSvrtTd2MbgBT4F1AE5UV_dhbpM-PDftGpCj9klconQH-5Hnx7Znly3NJI0" width="400" /></div>
<br />
To learn more about this new sharing setting, check out the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdVVukQJWdA">video overview</a>.<br />
<br />
<h1>
New Feature 2: Enable Sharing Permissions per Department</h1>
You may find that different departments within your organization have different needs when it comes to sharing content outside of your domain. For example, you might have an accounting department that needs to keep documents confidential but a sales team that needs to share documents and videos with their clients.<br />
<br />
Apps Admins are now able to set Google Drive sharing permissions based on organizational unit (OU). Many folks have set these up as departments, as you currently can with other apps like Gmail and Calendar.<br />
<br />
To enable sharing from the Admin console, click on: <b>Apps > Google Apps > Drive > Sharing settings</b>. Click on an OU/department on the left and adjust settings accordingly for the selected OU/department.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="183" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/5vrJpwTXYwvbcMvX_X49zWbnBi61DGXgJxpDntY1HUZSla-FlNyN1IMPZHMMIhHxTzjnUnzSr79lXyt2uq0dv4OLI1uTLFdAwPAtk7Py0-xHtMzagXzxFpOh3MbE7L74iv2PbGs" width="400" /></div>
<br />
<h1>
Sharer Beware</h1>
This update to sharing permissions is much needed and opens up ease of sharing and collaboration with non-Google users. However, be aware that with these features enabled, non-Google users who receive a sharing invitation can forward it to other people. The invitations expire after 14 days. You can also go into the sharing settings and change the access permissions at any time.<br />
<br />
<h1>
What do you think?</h1>
In my opinion, allowing non-Google users to preview Google docs and files is a pretty nice feature addition, especially if you consistently work with non-Google users.<br />
<br />
It's a step above the old way of "anyone with URL can view file", would you agree?<br />
<br />

<br />
In this blog post, we will review some of the differences between the classic and the new Drive in a web browser.<br />
<br />
<br />
<h3>
<span style="font-size: x-large;">
Shared with me is Incoming</span></h3>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
In classic Drive, you can click on Shared with me in the left side panel to view files that others have invited you to access. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-UA_h9f9isKQ/U_3URdU3g2I/AAAAAAAAAz0/jdKP9wPAweQ/s1600/Sharedwithme.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-UA_h9f9isKQ/U_3URdU3g2I/AAAAAAAAAz0/jdKP9wPAweQ/s1600/Sharedwithme.png" height="200" width="167" /></a></div>
<br />
In the new Drive, you can click on <b>Incoming</b> in the left to see a list of files that have been shared with you. This list indicates the owner of the file, share date, file name and location (if Added to <i>My Drive</i>).<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-QEz5PhecFJ0/U_3U_AlpVlI/AAAAAAAAAz8/mgWeOFfCZdQ/s1600/incoming.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-QEz5PhecFJ0/U_3U_AlpVlI/AAAAAAAAAz8/mgWeOFfCZdQ/s1600/incoming.png" height="200" width="153" /></a></div>
<br />
When you hover over a file in <b>Incoming</b>, you'll see three icons appear in the right side: <b>Download</b>, <b>Add to My Drive</b> and <b>More actions</b> (share, star, etc.).<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-s4ZADKllXDo/U_-dFRwDtFI/AAAAAAAAA2U/o-khklD8xW8/s1600/newdriveincoming.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-s4ZADKllXDo/U_-dFRwDtFI/AAAAAAAAA2U/o-khklD8xW8/s1600/newdriveincoming.png" height="243" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<h3>
<span style="font-size: x-large;">
Checkboxes are gone</span></h3>
<br />
In classic Drive, selecting files or folders is done by clicking the checkbox next to their title.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9GnX_JSs4yU/U_3cMBz1uyI/AAAAAAAAA0M/5xOUKPgNfLc/s1600/selectafile.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9GnX_JSs4yU/U_3cMBz1uyI/AAAAAAAAA0M/5xOUKPgNfLc/s1600/selectafile.png" height="105" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
To select an item in the new Drive, you can simply click on the file or folder to select it. A selected item will be highlighted in blue in the new Drive. To select multiple files or folders, you can hold down the Ctrl (Windows) or Command (Mac) key as you click on them. You can drag & drop files into folders to quickly organize them, and double click to open files or folder in the new Drive.<br />
<br />
After selecting a file, it is highlighted in blue and various icons are displayed above the contents of Drive: <b>Show link</b>, <b>Share</b>, <b>Preview</b>, <b>Remove</b> and <b>More Actions </b>(Open with, Move to, etc.).<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-GBwMGfsfKyQ/U_3cfH96e1I/AAAAAAAAA0U/xHqTkQuE3_M/s1600/selectfilenewdrive.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-GBwMGfsfKyQ/U_3cfH96e1I/AAAAAAAAA0U/xHqTkQuE3_M/s1600/selectfilenewdrive.png" height="136" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<i>Tip: Right-click on a file or folder to see a menu of actions to take on the item(s) you selected.</i><br />
<br />
<br />
<h3>
<span style="font-size: x-large;">
Stars are hidden</span></h3>
<br />
In classic Drive, starring a file or folder is done with one click on the star located next to its title.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-yepDErOUwtw/U_3d_sLmYGI/AAAAAAAAA0c/AItZgn0HJJs/s1600/starafile.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-yepDErOUwtw/U_3d_sLmYGI/AAAAAAAAA0c/AItZgn0HJJs/s1600/starafile.png" height="103" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
It takes a few more clicks to star a file in the new Drive, but there are two ways to star your important files or folders. You can either right-click on the file and choose <b>Add star</b> from the list, or, select the file and choose <b>Add star</b> from the <b>More actions</b> button located above your file list. If the file you selected is already starred, you will see the <b>Remove star </b>option instead.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3ArahSj2zPg/U_-n_Aa5AII/AAAAAAAAA28/q88Bm5RzzOw/s1600/addstarnewdrive.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3ArahSj2zPg/U_-n_Aa5AII/AAAAAAAAA28/q88Bm5RzzOw/s1600/addstarnewdrive.png" height="107" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<h3>
<span style="font-size: x-large;">Enable Offline in Settings</span></h3>
<br />
In classic Drive, enabling offline access and viewing work without an internet connection is done from the Offline point of view in the left side panel.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-v0u-raWTIyY/U_-okxaswnI/AAAAAAAAA3E/qL2Z-QBd8L4/s1600/Offline.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-v0u-raWTIyY/U_-okxaswnI/AAAAAAAAA3E/qL2Z-QBd8L4/s1600/Offline.png" /></a></div>
<br />
In the new Drive, you can turn on offline access after clicking the<b> gear</b> icon and choosing <b>Settings</b>. Simply check the box in the <b>Offline</b> section to sync your files to your computer so they are available for viewing and/or editing without an internet connection. Check out <a href="https://support.google.com/drive/answer/2375012?hl=en" target="_blank">this Google Support article</a> to learn more about offline access.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KGWopRnQKjE/U_-oqyE7xCI/AAAAAAAAA3M/Jcm1tsNlXD0/s1600/offlinenewdrive.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KGWopRnQKjE/U_-oqyE7xCI/AAAAAAAAA3M/Jcm1tsNlXD0/s1600/offlinenewdrive.png" height="150" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<i>Tip: For privacy and security reasons, do not enable Offline on a shared or public computer.</i><br />
<i><br /></i>
<i><br /></i>
<br />
<h3>
<span style="font-size: x-large;">
Upload and Create from one menu</span></h3>
<br />
In classic Drive, there are separate buttons for creating new documents and manually uploading new files.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-e_b5fvX7bXA/U_-o4PD3ZXI/AAAAAAAAA3U/lSo10hQF9TQ/s1600/createandupload.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-e_b5fvX7bXA/U_-o4PD3ZXI/AAAAAAAAA3U/lSo10hQF9TQ/s1600/createandupload.png" /></a></div>
<br />
In the new Drive, those two buttons are consolidated into one <b>NEW</b> button. To manually upload a file or folder in the new Drive, you can click on the red <b>New </b>button and choose <b>File upload</b> or <b>Folder upload</b> from the menu. <img height="230" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/l994fl22_H6LNa4GT8mBMsjYMgJcdGqXTBSmnFI80OKc51wEG6A6ihAt_DoyTiE-qcmOzub-ou7BK-F95CvXXIzSWIVHrLlFucn3SOaTEYCmIvr7dnYpzuvTEUFNw1Bjuw" width="320" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />Gmail lets you send messages with another one of your email addresses listed as the sender instead of your primary Gmail address. This feature helps you manage multiple accounts from the Gmail interface, as well as from your Android and iOS devices. The only key is you have to own the other address. This makes sending mail much easier, eliminating the need to be logged in to both accounts. To set “Send As” feature up using the web interface, follow the instructions below:<br /><br />Click the<b> Gear</b> and then <b>Settings.</b><div>
<b><br /></b><div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="188" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/go29PC0Ri_Q_9hNTeqNIfFXKTYbG334QdgiRglI2nNg6yzgv2cKRWf7SaDfhuRdi30gYepsUDEyocsyQulm0N2g-1tUHA89q_avpLssKMOZBhdpmtT0ooN3cnf2eki_MMA" width="200" /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
From the tabs across the top, select <b>Accounts and Import</b>, and then <b>Add another email address you own.</b></div>
<div>
<b><br /></b><div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="162" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/bpDc7F99I1XmWLnlX7Ro6K-tqMEfGOYqerJVj_AaIoxGPks7EoahHtkPVwDjkdIFCbYRKIvB3hrp536a3OgOvzYZdso7SH2CO_-FjMFzxRPhdvSGA9SuI2cqhfCDuR8twg" width="400" /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
A pop up will appear. If needed, you can edit the name that will appear to recipients as the sender of the message. Next, enter the email address you own and click <b>Next Step.</b></div>
<div>
<b><br /></b><div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="175" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/LuBx2aCXDwhs4XEeJR5zuaT4mDldNEAXK5KLBq6Mk-XybP0CvZn3JtRzjSHY4DWQ2mUepR-pBE5DoG1dbUA1K2V_0yhrOAJ-WximBfUWIT_3Ue73r367xh9W3632t-bf8Q" width="320" /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
Next, select <b>Send Verification.</b></div>
<div>
<b><br /></b><div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="137" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/EjhDsbF5CFd25joFq5wCq8hMLEEpNfsdWeQ5sETqqwxMnKIKQqp0xvSelVTLnM_-nV9_wgvf3RWXSqWC2ugw76bgVkUqSrLIP1HNwhq-kTGgiGaUWK-CdGyoFztaIjfy1Q" width="400" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
A verification code will then be sent to the specified email address. From there you can either click the link in the email received, or enter the verification code into the window and select <b>Verify.</b></div>
<div>
<b><br /></b><div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="182" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/2fsGb23eQ1Cky2gBbb9RrXJ39pI0Yl7m5w2_0WtZpFx9L2LWCZg9nn9gjapMbsIFDPLugQoVk5EYJewzC2iaaHnqIhj_HoRgoZBRyTQgCiUaj76MA3KvNvVHo_29EJxXNw" width="400" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Once you have verified the account, you will be able to send mail from either account. To access this using Gmail from a web browser, click <b>Compose</b>, and then click the drop down in the <b>From field. </b>Now you can select which email address you want to send that message from.</div>
<div>
<br /><div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="209" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/nrtCJFi09XSFkRUqrKRFcnVszjGiwhCQ3vnBqJHe932Q1wsP7P3mDhxSd9qJBKMMm0Om7It-4vf8_rRQ36HWGczLnNVj_xp2P5UDkz3UquYSdTrwermHSOQsqCmatAirPQ" width="400" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<div>
<br /></div>
On an <b>iOS device</b> click the <b>Cc/Bcc, From: field.</b></div>
<div>
<b><br /></b><div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="400" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/iJ6x_-6QW5h1MTFwr4VACjj49I2hBcXmjrUVbxXv5jnvAsejfmt8-1fMvESO0N_Q3oYIbkrLEue6_5cOV12fiPyN5BLvjLf5ajhAf6MW-XkG_PqE5LtWODpXG1VvkpCx3A" width="233" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Once you have expanded the field to see To, Cc, Bcc, and From, click the <b>From field</b> one last time to bring up your email choices. Then, click on the email address you wish to send from.</div>
<div>
<br /><div style="text-align: center;">

Some great news coming from Google Enterprise recently on Maps products. Google <a href="http://googleenterprise.blogspot.com/2014/07/bringing-google-earth-images-to-business.html">announced</a> with its aerial imaging program that it will be offering up for sale 6-inch resolution imagery at a very competitive price rate. This follows on from the story of Google acquiring Skybox Imaging to integrate imagery for the future, and if your business wants to invest in Google Maps for Business to utilize this high resolution imagery, you can contact us here at Dito to assist your business need.<br />
<br />
You can also learn more on how this can be used to your business's advantage in our upcoming Hangout on Air on Google Maps Engine this Thursday at 3pm EST: <a href="http://webinarjam.net/webinar/go/11264/a3dcc8e99f">Register here</a>!<br />
<br />
<a href="http://googleenterprise.blogspot.com/2014/07/bringing-power-of-maps-coordinate-to.html">Also announced</a>, Two Maps for Business products will also be combined into one product:<br />

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="200" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/sgTx3taXzDcoaEdxH5kDaTy6aM8PdzUDbwh5dCmzYNVr2Q1pSWXFMca_EYYB3zAOiC11ZxSOmE1jvQa6WISlLLO4mZzEE3X95ydvcwN_ihz_o8SnhSk9p2veBjIV_QPABg" width="200" /></div>
Everyone’s favorite part about Google Docs is that it’s so easy to collaborate with others. This avoids multiple versions of the same document floating around. In the past, if you still wanted a collaborator’s opinion, but did not want them to make the edits, you would give them <b>Can comment</b> permissions in the document’s sharing settings. With this new update to Google Docs, you are able to let your commenters edit, and you can accept or reject their changes later. This new feature is available for anyone with commenting access in Google Docs on the web. In this month’s Pro Tip we will show you how to use <b>Suggested Edits</b>.<br />
<br />
To get started, share a document out and give your collaborator commenting access. <br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="150" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/s427j4LuZ5jokGmC45gGjfQypP26fT8I1hzJ7plv6x60c6LHJIo3xZ53KqyIjo7T3ZcfcRUJ9bofJo8MNzw_uF87FG80QG-Lfww2ANjAycEqN4WdRtROhpHyO-XHbV9nbw" width="400" /></div>
When the commenter joins the document, they will see they are suggesting edits (indicated in the top right).<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="251" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/WLIrNBe2NqsdLd7zySB4m3F3wAJoaB4U8zKuJTJVP9nDBeeFzltkmlPmEKK8oa1lmhJAT1VTSVX5_-fEXv5yvb4IQezGHd4QNUNL00A2r4pQUxhjm5fdmlN2UgK9Iy-6dw" width="320" /></div>
Any edits they make will appear as comments on the side that the owner of the document can reply to, accept, or decline. When they click on the comment, the suggested edit appears directly on the document.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="347" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/VB2Q5F0ihs0APlzw4ZCSHXUCru0ytP25QTifzVhl-Bw16UMRtzVNS_HwhwrI7ZAJ9UIZtdKrdWmHb6lk7jcBHKtU_nT2cvHafcPyzOnoHHBXKdfkFrESSTvq0oYlTzGQUA" width="640" /></div>
Editors can also suggest edits by clicking the button in the upper right and switching from Editing to <b>Suggesting</b>. <br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="312" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/DQdTSc3U6Ic_bgpGwYBBhMGnCI5pN8dLaBo8fWc7mYGZ-57rHu3fPkCNLcyKPPlf7m007i-7C5riJDCnzZ626269GWlpD0Tev5iBShVoOc_DSN3LQDjg2QXHYY685i_zGg" width="400" /></div>
While in <b>Suggesting</b> mode, any changes that editors make will appear as suggestions. You or other editors can then accept, decline, or reply to their suggestion as indicated in the steps above.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="120" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/mqX5lNbR5AMrMpFLXZFbEygHad3jg6V_OXFnA4opAcbrUG-psosNWoOwzsSFvC16_kgBcKYJvcoXV7lejEf6WnXCJM9ilH7vAGCHiikLFoRj2cm9Gh4atnmEfUIgfmD8iA" width="640" /></div>
Now you can share out your document and give your commenters more power, without letting them have free reign over your document. This feature will soon be available for mobile users as well! Be sure to keep this great feature in mind the next time you are collaborating on a document. If you enjoyed this post, please +1 or share with others who may find it useful. Feel free to also add your questions or comments below.<div class="blogger-post-footer">Have questions? This session will cover the new Google Earth Engine technology and experimental API for massively-parallel geospatial analysis on daily-updating global datasets such as Landsat satellite imagery. Scientists and other domain experts are developing new EE-powered applications which map, measure and monitor our changing planet in unprecedented detail, for the benefit of people and the environment. Applications include tracking and reducing global deforestation; mapping and mitigating the risks of earthquakes and extreme weather events such as floods and drought; and even creating new kinds of geo-visualizations such as the 2014 Webby award-winning “Timelapse” - a zoomable, browsable HTML5 video animation of the entire Earth from 1984-2012, built from nearly a petabyte of Landsat data. These early results merely hint at what’s now possible.</span></div>

<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/DFFj51OcizA" width="560"></iframe></div>
<br />
Google Drive for Work is accessible via all platforms and on all major mobile devices. It includes the ability to preview, create, edit and and collaborate with any number of files. You can work in native applications such as Docs and Sheets or even make changes to Office documents. You can also easily work with your co-workers upstairs or across the world, all in real-time. It is by far the best collaborative storage platform the cloud is offering to date.<br />
<br />
And Google's storage size is simple: it's unlimited. You can share files up to 5TB in size. And all for about $10 per person, per month. <br />
<br />
As you might expect, you'll never experience any issue getting to Google Drive. Google offers 99.99% uptime in their SLA along with no scheduled downtime, meaning you'll always be able to access your information wherever you are. Your data is also secure since it's encrypted when transferred and at rest. <br />
<br />
Administrators will like the ease in managing users and groups as well as the ability to audit activity, monitor and track files being shared within and outside the company. <br />
<br />
Google Drive for Work also includes Google Vault, so content stored is available for archiving and discovery. <br />
<br />
There are number of companies that offer file sharing and online storage solutions. But Google Drive for Work is the one and only true collaborative solution for your business. <br />
<br />
Over the next few days, we'll be highlighting a number of features and benefits. We'll even do a bit of comparison between some of the other products available. If you can't wait and would like to have a conversation about Google Drive for Work, let us know.

<br /></div>
Google announced this week that it has entered into an agreement to buy Skybox Imaging for $500 million.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
What does this mean for the future of Google Maps? Potentially, access to sub-meter resolution satellite imagery and high-definition video of global operations, which would result in satellite imagery on Google Maps and Earth being updated more regularly. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Skybox Imaging started as a business plan written as part of a Stanford graduate entrepreneurship course in 2009. Since then, the company has innovated within the satellite imaging industry by building and launching low-cost, high-resolution imaging satellites.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Skybox Imaging has developed analytics for the following applications:</div>
<div>
<ul>
<li>Agriculture Health Monitoring: monitoring crop health and projecting yields</li>
<li>Humanitarian Aid: tracking refugee movement and development of infrastructure</li>
<li>Insurance Modeling: informing risk exposure models and monitoring high value assets</li>
<li>Oil Storage Monitoring: monitoring oil storage containers and changes in volumes</li>
<li>Natural Disaster Response: helping first responders in rescue efforts</li>
<li>Oil & Gas Infrastructure Monitoring: detecting unsafe property and infrastructure</li>
<li>Financial Trading Intelligence: analyzing metrics like the number of cars in a retailer’s parking lot or the size of stockpiles of natural resources in ports</li>
<li>Mining Operations Monitoring: identifying rock topologies and geological structures for evacuation planning</li>
<li>Carbon Monitoring: improving land cover maps and creating reliable carbon stock calculations</li>
<li>Maritime Monitoring: optimizing supply chain decisions and analyzing container activity in ports</li>
</ul>
</div>
<div>
<br /></div>

If this personal approach is important to your business and ideal for your employees, shouldn't your video conferencing system facilitate the process of connecting instantly and collaborating with others? If your current solution is complicated, unreliable, and inaccessible for most of your organization, it may be time to evaluate Chromebox for Meetings.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-KOxSUE_JmOs/U5caKXHlSmI/AAAAAAAAAto/JFfS12rGZFM/s1600/fm-features-meetings.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-KOxSUE_JmOs/U5caKXHlSmI/AAAAAAAAAto/JFfS12rGZFM/s1600/fm-features-meetings.jpg" height="162" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div>
Released earlier this year, Chromebox for Meetings adds to Google's Chrome-based hardware offerings, bringing high-definition video conferencing within the means of nearly all businesses. In a nutshell, it's a complete video conferencing system that integrates with Google Apps and eliminates the need for using complex and expensive legacy video conferencing equipment. The cost for Chromebox for Meetings is only $999, which includes an annual $250/year licensing fee and the following equipment:</div>
<div>
<ul>
<li>Chromebox unit (Asus or HP Chromebox)</li>
<li>HD webcam with 1080p that automatically adjusts the resolution based on bandwidth, has an auto-focusing lens, and automatic low-light adjustment</li>
<li>Microphone/Speaker unit that optimizes for speech clarity and noise filtering</li>
<li>Wireless remote control</li>
</ul>
</div>
<div>
Setup and ongoing management of Chromebox for Meetings requires little effort, especially for existing Google Apps customers. Chromebox for Meetings integrates with Google Calendar and offers the familiar screen-sharing and collaborative features of Google Hangouts video calls, making implementation a breeze for organizations already using Google Apps. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Unlike consumer video chat solutions that are designed for 1-on-1 meetings, Chromebox for Meetings allows up to 15 locations to participate in a video meeting. Users can start, schedule and invite others to video meetings from inside the Chromebox for Meetings room, or from outside the meeting room on their mobile device, laptop or desktop. Participants can join by clicking the video call URL in the calendar invitation, and users within the organization have the added convenience of joining a video call from their web browser at g.co/hangouts.</div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
Google is constantly updating and improving it’s online productivity suite, Google Drive. Recently, Google announced <a href="http://googledrive.blogspot.com/2014/03/add-ons.html">Add-Ons for Docs and Sheets</a>, which are tools created by developer partners to give us even more features in our documents and spreadsheets. In this month’s Pro Tip we will show you how to enable add-ons, and recommend a few of our favorites</div>
<br />To get add-ons for Docs, simply locate the <b>Add-ons menu</b>, and select <b>Get add-ons</b>. Hint: add-ons for Sheets works exactly the same way.<br /><div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="285" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/cP4IbKlYLtHZQZrCBTLoM-5wEaTQSqnAswgsIUm4OdphBRgW2gXLDnVtBRT5h-BXzvhpHR-sqj9ncrU1oUB26IbUaZP7LY9nF_Ww3zIXDL4-OtaPv1rhNEQc0u5PbA" width="400" /></div>
The add-ons menu will open, allowing you to browse or search. We encourage you to take a look around, and install a few add-ons!<br /><div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="238" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/uw6yPuDD6tqGnXsYlCYP-4LUzxubPWwiKZEHfHpCGT_zYWsu3S8vciqmgPAjUwZdzG00ghCkl91PKnAufGzzgZ1Pey_pD5P-2R61n1ekGy4BMXNk7P7vdFnM1ijuZw" width="400" /></div>
After you find the add-on you would like to use, like Google Translate, select<b> Free</b> to install.<br /><div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="238" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/dS3_APFNCuh8dpOPVWiLKT_hOGBU2NPP22evtElA-rBfiHbRXWYLvf90X6DGrAqo_gPymQpvobveFs390PdQRvPFtDNpL95wDhjygLIWYfC3t0CvqOvGoqkmAKQnhg" width="400" /></div>
To finish installing, click <b>Accept</b>.<br /><div style="text-align: center;">

You can access any installed add-ons from the <b>Add-ons</b> menu.<br /><div style="text-align: center;">
