Do you know if adding an attachment to a repeating event adds it to all event or just one?
ReplyDeleteHi Daniel,
DeleteYes, if you add an attachment to a repeating event it will add it to all events. If you make this adjustment after the repeating event has been created, be sure to make the selection to apply to 'All Events' and not 'Only this event' or 'All following events'. This sure beats adding the doc to each calendar event!
This can come in handy if you have ongoing meeting minutes. Guests can always reference the same document that will be updated at each meeting.
Hi, I dont seem to have the "event attachment" lab listed as an option?
ReplyDeleteHi Diana,
DeleteBe sure you are in your setting under labs. You can find this sections by selecting the Gear in the upper-right corner of the screen. Event attachments will be listed among the labs. If you don't see it right away, you may need to scroll down the screen. Let me know if this helps!
Thanks, I found it! If I have an outlook account that syncs with gmail/google cal, will I be able to see and open the attachment in outlook, and vice versa if I attach a document in outlook? Thanks

That link will give you a comprehensive lists of what is not supported in Outlook when running GASMO. There is a portion about the calendar attachments as well as some other useful information. Hope this helps!
Just out of curiosity, what reasons make you prefer running GASMO as opposed to the web UI? Like I said, just curious :)
Good Afternoon,
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to make a google calendar for my job. I've gone into the labs and looked at all of the options. Unfortunately, the attachment lab everyone is talking about doesn't appear. It worked on my manager's computer, but not my own. We've looked at it the last few days, but haven't found what we are doing. Any suggestions why she has it and I don't? I've already tried to add on a new web browser(Firefox) but that didn't help any. Any opinions would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Kayla
